- Is the $145 price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. $145 Standard covers 1–6 passengers with luggage in one private car, taxes and tolls included — the same figure whether you are two people or six. VIP is $210 for the same group in a luxury SUV or executive van. Groups of 7–14 move to a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP.
- How long is the drive from LRM to Excellence Punta Cana?
- 2 h 10 – 2 h 35 in normal traffic. Two hours ten to two hours thirty-five east from LRM, the last stretch on the quiet Uvero Alto coast road. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
- Where does the driver meet us at Excellence Punta Cana?
- In the LRM arrivals hall with a name sign, then the full run east to Uvero Alto, stopping at the Excellence reception rather than the Finest entrance beside it.
- Is this hotel close to La Romana airport?
- Not especially — it is 2 h 10 – 2 h 35 from LRM, out along the eastern coast rather than in the La Romana and Bayahibe cluster. The run is perfectly comfortable in a private car, but it is a long drive, so we dispatch earlier, carry water and build in a comfort stop if you want one. Your vehicle goes straight to Excellence Punta Cana with no other pickups.
- Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
- No — Uvero Alto is $145 Standard and $210 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Uvero Alto is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $145 / $210, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
- Is the drive from La Romana to Uvero Alto too long?
- It is 2 h 10 – 2 h 35 on good highway, and passengers usually find it easy in a private car: one stop if you want it, air conditioning, no other groups. If your itinerary allows either airport, we will tell you honestly which one makes more sense for your dates.
