The Macao road resorts

Macao is the surf beach north of Arena Gorda and the resorts on the road behind it — Moon Palace and its neighbours, the Hard Rock access, the Cana Bay golf residences. It is the last of the Punta Cana-side zones before the coast turns towards Uvero Alto. From La Romana it is a full two-hour run, so we treat it as a planned drive: one vehicle, one stop if you want it, and a written price before you fly.

How the Macao pickup runs

1. 1Send the resort name with your flight, date and party size.
2. 2We reply with the written price and confirm the vehicle for your luggage.
3. 3After the bags and the customs check, walk out of the single arrivals door and look for the sign with your name.
4. 4Direct two-hour drive to the resort entrance. No other passengers.

Resorts drop at the main entrance under the portico. For a Cana Bay residence send the house number so the gate has it before the car arrives.

Bigger groups

7–14 passengers ride in a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP for this zone. Golf bags, strollers, wheelchairs and surf gear are fine — give us the luggage count and we send the right vehicle instead of guessing at the curb.
