Boca Chica is the shallow, reef-protected bay closest to the capital, and it sits ten minutes from Las Américas airport (SDQ). That makes it the practical overnight stop for anyone connecting between the two airports or flying out of SDQ early the next morning. This rate covers the hotels along Avenida Duarte and the beach, the apartment rentals behind them and the Andrés marina side of town. The drive is the coastal highway the whole way, past San Pedro and Juan Dolio, and the last stretch into town is the slowest part of it.

Hotels drop at the entrance. The beach end of Avenida Duarte closes to traffic on busy weekends, so the driver uses the nearest open access and walks the bags in.
