- Is the $320 price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. $320 Standard covers 1–6 passengers with luggage in one private car, taxes and tolls included — the same figure whether you are two people or six. VIP is $430 for the same group in a luxury SUV or executive van. Groups of 7–14 move to a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP.
- How long is the drive from LRM to Viva V Samana by Wyndham?
- 4 – 4.5 h in normal traffic. Viva V Samana by Wyndham is on Cosón Beach near Las Terrenas. It is not Viva Miches, Viva Dominicus or Viva Heavens in Puerto Plata. Select the complete Samaná property name and use our Samaná and Las Terrenas zone for the road journey from LRM. Send the flight details and any hotel reception instructions so the arrival and return are confirmed for the correct coast. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
- Where does the driver meet us at Viva V Samana by Wyndham?
- Your driver meets you after baggage collection at La Romana airport with a name sign. For the return journey, we confirm the hotel's collection point and pickup time using your departure flight date and number. Send any reception instructions supplied by the hotel before you travel.
- Is this hotel close to La Romana airport?
- Not especially — it is 4 – 4.5 h from LRM, out along the eastern coast rather than in the La Romana and Bayahibe cluster. The run is perfectly comfortable in a private car, but it is a long drive, so we dispatch earlier, carry water and build in a comfort stop if you want one. Your vehicle goes straight to Viva V Samana by Wyndham with no other pickups.
- Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
- No — Las Terrenas is $320 Standard and $430 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Las Terrenas is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $320 / $430, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
- Can I select Viva Dominicus for a Viva V Samaná booking?
- No. Viva V Samaná is on the Samaná peninsula near Las Terrenas; Viva Dominicus is near Bayahibe on a different coast. They have different transfer fares and road journeys from LRM. Use the full name and location from your hotel reservation.
