- Is the $320 price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. $320 Standard covers 1–6 passengers with luggage in one private car, taxes and tolls included — the same figure whether you are two people or six. VIP is $430 for the same group in a luxury SUV or executive van. Groups of 7–14 move to a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP.
- How long is the drive from LRM to Bahia Principe Escape Samaná?
- 4 – 4.5 h in normal traffic. Bahia Principe Escape Samaná is on the Samaná–Las Galeras road. The hotel formerly used the Grand Samaná name, and older reservations may use Luxury Samaná. It is a mainland hotel, separate from Cayo Levantado Resort on the island and El Portillo near Las Terrenas. Send the complete reservation name so your LRM transfer goes to the hotel rather than an island departure pier. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
- Where does the driver meet us at Bahia Principe Escape Samaná?
- Your driver meets you after baggage collection at La Romana airport with a name sign. For the return journey, we confirm the hotel's collection point and pickup time using your departure flight date and number. Send any reception instructions supplied by the hotel before you travel.
- Is this hotel close to La Romana airport?
- Not especially — it is 4 – 4.5 h from LRM, out along the eastern coast rather than in the La Romana and Bayahibe cluster. The run is perfectly comfortable in a private car, but it is a long drive, so we dispatch earlier, carry water and build in a comfort stop if you want one. Your vehicle goes straight to Bahia Principe Escape Samaná with no other pickups.
- Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
- No — Las Terrenas is $320 Standard and $430 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Las Terrenas is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $320 / $430, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
- Does the transfer to Bahia Principe Escape Samaná need a boat?
- This page covers the mainland hotel on the Samaná–Las Galeras road. It is not Cayo Levantado Resort. We arrange the road transfer to the confirmed hotel entrance; an island resort itinerary must be requested separately and must not be inferred from the Bahia Principe brand.
