- Is the $170 price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. $170 Standard covers 1–6 passengers with luggage in one private car, taxes and tolls included — the same figure whether you are two people or six. VIP is $240 for the same group in a luxury SUV or executive van. Groups of 7–14 move to a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP.
- How long is the drive from LRM to Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa?
- 2 h 30 – 3 h in normal traffic. Secrets Playa Esmeralda is the adults-only resort on Playa Esmeralda in Miches, next to Dreams Playa Esmeralda. It is farther along the northeastern coast than the Uvero Alto resorts. Select the full name rather than Secrets Punta Cana so the booking uses the Miches transfer zone and the correct arrival destination. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
- Where does the driver meet us at Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa?
- Your driver meets you after baggage collection at La Romana airport with a name sign. For the return journey, we confirm the hotel's collection point and pickup time using your departure flight date and number. Send any reception instructions supplied by the hotel before you travel.
- Is this hotel close to La Romana airport?
- Not especially — it is 2 h 30 – 3 h from LRM, out along the eastern coast rather than in the La Romana and Bayahibe cluster. The run is perfectly comfortable in a private car, but it is a long drive, so we dispatch earlier, carry water and build in a comfort stop if you want one. Your vehicle goes straight to Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa with no other pickups.
- Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
- No — Miches is $170 Standard and $240 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Miches is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $170 / $240, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
- Is Secrets Playa Esmeralda in the same zone as Secrets Tides?
- No. Secrets Playa Esmeralda uses Miches, while Secrets Tides uses Uvero Alto. Confirm the complete hotel name before comparing fares or arranging a departure pickup from the resort.
