- Is the $170 price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. $170 Standard covers 1–6 passengers with luggage in one private car, taxes and tolls included — the same figure whether you are two people or six. VIP is $240 for the same group in a luxury SUV or executive van. Groups of 7–14 move to a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP.
- How long is the drive from LRM to Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa?
- 2 h 30 – 3 h in normal traffic. Dreams Playa Esmeralda is the family resort in Miches beside Secrets Playa Esmeralda. It is not Dreams Macao, Dreams Onyx or Dreams Dominicus. The resort's complete name is particularly important for this longer transfer from LRM: a generic Dreams request could point to several different parts of the country. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
- Where does the driver meet us at Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa?
- Your driver meets you after baggage collection at La Romana airport with a name sign. For the return journey, we confirm the hotel's collection point and pickup time using your departure flight date and number. Send any reception instructions supplied by the hotel before you travel.
- Is this hotel close to La Romana airport?
- Not especially — it is 2 h 30 – 3 h from LRM, out along the eastern coast rather than in the La Romana and Bayahibe cluster. The run is perfectly comfortable in a private car, but it is a long drive, so we dispatch earlier, carry water and build in a comfort stop if you want one. Your vehicle goes straight to Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa with no other pickups.
- Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
- No — Miches is $170 Standard and $240 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Miches is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $170 / $240, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
- Should families staying at Playa Esmeralda choose Dreams or Secrets?
- Select the property on your reservation: Dreams Playa Esmeralda is the family resort, while Secrets Playa Esmeralda is the neighbouring adults-only resort. Both use our Miches zone, but we confirm the specific hotel reception.
