- Is the $25 price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. $25 Standard covers 1–6 passengers with luggage in one private car, taxes and tolls included — the same figure whether you are two people or six. VIP is $59 for the same group in a luxury SUV or executive van. Groups of 7–14 move to a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP.
- How long is the drive from LRM to La Romana cruise port?
- 10–15 min in normal traffic. Ten to fifteen minutes from the terminal to the cruise pier on the western side of the Chavón river mouth. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
- Where does the driver meet us at La Romana cruise port?
- For arrivals, in the LRM arrivals hall with a name sign, then straight to the terminal gate. For disembarkation, the driver waits outside the port gate with your name — send the ship name so we track the right arrival time.
- Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
- No — La Romana city is $25 Standard and $59 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. La Romana city is a shorter run from LRM than Bayahibe, so the rate is lower. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
- Our ship docks early in the morning — can you collect us then?
- Yes. We run port pickups from first light, and disembarkation waves are unpredictable, so the driver waits with a name sign at the gate until you are through. There is no extra waiting charge for cruise pickups.
