How long is the drive from LRM to La Romana cruise port?

10–15 min in normal traffic. Ten to fifteen minutes from the terminal to the cruise pier on the western side of the Chavón river mouth. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.

La Romana's cruise terminal is about ten to fifteen minutes from the airport, which makes LRM the natural fly-in point for a cruise starting or ending here — most passengers are on board within half an hour of clearing customs. Two directions matter. Arriving to join a ship, we take the boarding deadline rather than the landing time as the fixed point and track your flight against it. Disembarking, the terminal releases passengers in waves, so we wait outside the gate with a name sign and there is no charge for the wait. Tell us the ship's name and the sailing date when you book; the port runs several vessels and the drop-off gate depends on which pier is in use.
