Where Sanctuary Cap Cana sits and where we stop

Sanctuary Cap Cana is the adults-only, castle-styled resort inside the gated Cap Cana development, close to Juanillo beach and the Punta Espada golf course. The security post at the Cap Cana entrance checks names against a list, so the booking carries the resort name and the driver gives it there — "Cap Cana" alone is not enough for a development this size. From La Romana the drive is one hour fifteen to one hour thirty, mostly on the Coral highway. Golfers should mention clubs when they book so the right vehicle comes; a car that fits four passengers does not always fit four golf bags as well.
