- Is the $95 price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. $95 Standard covers 1–6 passengers with luggage in one private car, taxes and tolls included — the same figure whether you are two people or six. VIP is $160 for the same group in a luxury SUV or executive van. Groups of 7–14 move to a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP.
- How long is the drive from LRM to Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa?
- 1 h 15 – 1 h 30 in normal traffic. About an hour and a quarter east from LRM on Highway 3 and the Coral toll road, then through the Cap Cana gate to Juanillo beach. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
- Where does the driver meet us at Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa?
- In the LRM arrivals hall with a name sign, then east to Cap Cana. The driver names the resort at the gate and goes on to the Secrets Cap Cana lobby door.
- Is this hotel close to La Romana airport?
- Not especially — it is 1 h 15 – 1 h 30 from LRM, out along the eastern coast rather than in the La Romana and Bayahibe cluster. The run is perfectly comfortable in a private car, but it is a long drive, so we dispatch earlier, carry water and build in a comfort stop if you want one. Your vehicle goes straight to Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa with no other pickups.
- Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
- No — Cap Cana is $95 Standard and $160 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Cap Cana is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $95 / $160, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
- Why fly into La Romana for Cap Cana?
- Because LRM is small and quick: you are usually out of the terminal twenty to thirty-five minutes after landing, against a much longer wait at a big airport. The drive is 1 h 15 – 1 h 30, so many travellers still reach their room faster, and the private car is booked at a fixed price before you fly.
- Is the Cap Cana gate a problem for private drivers?
- No. The guard logs the vehicle and the guest name. Send the booking name exactly as the hotel has it and the car is passed straight through to the lobby.
