Where Eden Roc sits and where we stop

Eden Roc Cap Cana is the boutique, suite-and-villa property near the marina, much smaller than its all-inclusive neighbours and with a driveway that is easy to miss from the internal road. That is the practical reason to book a driver who has been there: the drive from La Romana is one hour fifteen to one hour thirty of simple highway, and the only tricky part is the last two minutes. Guests here tend to travel with less luggage and more schedule — dinners at the marina, golf at Punta Espada, a boat morning — so we quote waiting time and internal Cap Cana hops in advance and keep the same driver for the week when you want that.

How long is the drive from LRM to Eden Roc Cap Cana?
1 h 15 – 1 h 30 in normal traffic. An hour and a quarter east, ending at a small boutique property near the Cap Cana marina. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
Where does the driver meet us at Eden Roc Cap Cana?
In the LRM arrivals hall with a name sign, then east to Cap Cana and directly to the Eden Roc reception — the driver knows the marina-side turning.
Is this hotel close to La Romana airport?
Not especially — it is 1 h 15 – 1 h 30 from LRM, out along the eastern coast rather than in the La Romana and Bayahibe cluster. The run is perfectly comfortable in a private car, but it is a long drive, so we dispatch earlier, carry water and build in a comfort stop if you want one. Your vehicle goes straight to Eden Roc Cap Cana with no other pickups.
Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
No — Cap Cana is $95 Standard and $160 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Cap Cana is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $95 / $160, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
Can the same driver stay with us for golf and dinners?
Yes. We quote a fixed price for waiting time or for a half-day hire, so the same driver handles Punta Espada, the marina restaurants and the return to LRM instead of you arranging a taxi each evening.
