Barceló Bávaro Beach is the adults-only hotel within the Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort complex. The neighbouring Barceló Bávaro Palace is a different hotel, so Palace and Beach should not be used interchangeably in a transfer request. Select Beach and send any accommodation-specific arrival instructions. A transfer booking covers the confirmed hotel destination, not admission to other parts of the resort. Your private transfer starts at La Romana International Airport (LRM). Send the flight number, arrival date, passenger count and luggage details; we confirm the destination and total price in writing. The published journey time is an estimate for normal traffic and excludes immigration and baggage collection. For a round trip, include the return flight date and number so we can agree the hotel pickup time before departure.

Not especially — it is 1 h 35 – 1 h 55 from LRM, out along the eastern coast rather than in the La Romana and Bayahibe cluster. The run is perfectly comfortable in a private car, but it is a long drive, so we dispatch earlier, carry water and build in a comfort stop if you want one. Your vehicle goes straight to Barceló Bávaro Beach with no other pickups.
Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
No — Bávaro is $115 Standard and $180 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Bávaro is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $115 / $180, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
Is the Barceló Bávaro Palace reception the correct destination?
Not if your accommodation is booked at Barceló Bávaro Beach. Select Beach, the adults-only hotel, and keep that name on your transfer confirmation. Both hotels use our Bávaro zone but have distinct reception destinations.
