Despite the name, Hilton La Romana is not in La Romana town — it is on Playa Dominicus, thirty to forty minutes east of the airport, and it is priced at the Dominicus rate rather than the city rate. The resort is split into an adults-only section and a family section that share one entrance and one guard post, so the guard needs to know which reception you belong to before he directs the car. We take that with the booking and pass it to the driver. Everything else is simple: we watch your flight, the driver is inside arrivals with a name sign when you clear customs, and the car goes straight there with no stops at the neighbouring resorts.
