That is the one detail worth getting right before you land: "Viva" on a booking sheet describes two entrances, not one, and the wrong one means a walk across the grounds with your cases. Tell us Beach or Palace on WhatsApp and we confirm it back in writing. The drive itself is a comfortable thirty to forty minutes east from LRM on good road, with the Dominicus checkpoint at the end. The beach here is the same stretch of Playa Dominicus that the Saona boats leave from, a few minutes from Bayahibe village.
