Three hours before the flight is the realistic pickup here. The drive is 50 to 70 minutes, but the stretch through San Pedro de Macorís is the least predictable part of this coast at commuter hours, and the small terminal at La Romana can queue when two charters leave together. On a Sunday afternoon, when the beach traffic heads back west, we add another twenty minutes rather than hope.
The driver arrives before the agreed time and waits at the hotel entrance. Condo towers need your name with the concierge — send the building and unit at booking so the barrier opens without a phone call.
