- Is the $55 price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle. $55 Standard covers 1–6 passengers with luggage in one private car, taxes and tolls included — the same figure whether you are two people or six. VIP is $95 for the same group in a luxury SUV or executive van. Groups of 7–14 move to a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP.
- How long is the drive from LRM to Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville?
- 35–50 min in normal traffic. Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville is the adults-only resort previously marketed as Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville, in the Playa Nueva Romana / El Soco complex. It uses our separate Playa Nueva Romana / El Soco transfer zone, not La Romana city. Do not confuse it with Explore La Romana: although they share the wider complex, the driver needs your exact resort reception. Supply the name and entrance instructions from your current reservation for both arrival and return collection. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
- Where does the driver meet us at Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville?
- Your driver meets you after baggage collection at La Romana airport with a name sign. For the return journey, we confirm the hotel's collection point and pickup time using your departure flight date and number. Send any reception instructions supplied by the hotel before you travel.
- Is this the same price as Bayahibe?
- No — Playa Nueva Romana is $55 Standard and $95 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bayahibe hotels are $40 Standard and $79 VIP. Playa Nueva Romana is farther from the airport than Bayahibe, so the rate is $55 / $95, not $40 / $79. If your booking is actually at a Bayahibe resort, tell us the property name on WhatsApp and we quote the Bayahibe rate instead.
- Can I book Escape Bouganville under its former Luxury Bouganville name?
- Yes. Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville and Escape Bouganville are recognized as the same destination, with one canonical hotel page. Use the Playa Nueva Romana / El Soco zone and confirm the Bouganville reception rather than the neighboring Explore La Romana lobby.
